| Annual Guest Passes Made Easy
|
Laguna Woods Village Annual Guest Passes are set to expire June 30, 2017, and that means all your guests need a new pass. But good news, your guests are already in the system from last year, so a new pass is easy to get: just tell them to stop by any of the staffed gate houses and pick up a new one.
If you need to make a change to your annual guest pass list, simply:
- Pick up a Guest Pass Application at Resident Services, any clubhouse, staffed gate house, or download it by clicking here. Fill it out, and return it to Resident Services at residentservices@vmsinc.org or in person at the Community Center, 24351 El Toro Road, Laguna Woods 92637. Once processed, your guest can pick up their pass at any staffed gate house upon entry; or
- DwellingLive users, login and modify your “permanent” guest list. Changes will be effective immediately, and your guest can pick up their pass at any staffed gate house upon entry.
Each permanent guest will be issued a pass that is valid for one year. When the pass expires, a new pass may be obtained at a staffed gate house or Resident Services. Questions? Call Resident Services at 949-597-4600.

Put Down That Tree Pruner
|
Village residents love their trees. To ensure they are healthy and beautiful, all tree maintenance and removals must be performed by the Landscape Department under the supervision of certified arborists. Residents and their hired contractors are prohibited from performing any tree maintenance or removal. Violation of this policy will result in disciplinary action and a fine.
See a tree you think should be trimmed? Contact Resident Services atresidentservices@vmsinc.org or 949-597-4600 to make a request, and a staff person will follow up.

Gate 11 Security Enhancements in Final Stages: Your Third Board is "Bettering the Community" again! Beginning Monday, June 26, an outside contractor will replace barbed wire along the far north perimeter wall within Gate 11 with shepherds crook. The Landscape Department will perform brush clearing and tree trimming along the wall during this project. The Gate 11 Wall Security project will be complete late July.
Don’t Feed the Bunnies: Though often times well intentioned, feeding wildlife draws coyotes closer to populated areas where they can lose their natural fear, making them a threat to both people and pets. Feeding wildlife is illegal and carries fines and penalties! (Laguna Woods Municipal Code §5.20.070)
Temporarily Tented: Clubhouse 4 will be closed on Tuesday, August 8 and Wednesday, August 9 for tenting and fumigation. The Clubhouse will reopen after 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 10. Residents with rented storage lockers will be notified by letter with instructions on how to prepare for the fumigation process.
